Get it? Instead of passed around – Paxed around. No? Okay.
Thais LOVE babies. Love. Love. Love. Especially foreigner babies. For Pax specifically, they always mention his blue blue blue eyes and little nose. And they always want to hold him. They practically take him out of my arms!
One day I was eating out with a friend and was clearly struggling to hold him while simultaneously and successfully getting the food into my mouth. Our waitress came over and scooped him up. She walked around with him and showed him to the other staff. They played while we ate. And that’s totally not uncommon here.
These pictures are all from different races in or around Chiang Mai where folks have asked to hold little PaxMan. Sometimes he eats it up. Sometimes he reaches back for our familiar arms.
